Do current Ranger mats fit the previous PX3 model?
No. The T6.2 platform (2022-onwards) is a new floor pan; front footwell width and retention pattern both changed. Any listing must say “P703” or “2022-onwards Ranger”.
Is the Raptor’s cabin the same as Wildtrak’s?
Front cabin dimensions are the same, but the Raptor’s front seats sit ~10 mm further inboard on their track, and the fully-flat rear floor is unchanged. Front mats cross-fit; rear mats also cross-fit though Raptor-badged sets include a colour-matched centre panel.
Are TPE deep-tray liners overkill for a Ranger?
Not if you use it as a working truck. Ranger owners routinely track mud, sand and site debris into the cabin; a deep-channel TPE liner with a 30 mm+ raised edge is far easier to lift out and hose than a factory carpet mat. Ford’s own rubber over-mats are the cheaper interim.
Does the incoming Ranger PHEV change mat fit?
Announced for 2025, the PHEV keeps the same T6.2 platform and Double Cab body, so cabin mats are shared with the diesel. Battery packaging affects towing capacity (down to ~2500 kg from 3500 kg) but not the footwell.
One thing many buyers miss
Double Cab is by far the most common UK Ranger body, but Single and Super Cab variants exist for fleet buyers. Single Cab has no rear footwell to mat at all; Super Cab has rear jump seats with a very short footwell. Confirm your body type on the V5C before ordering “Ranger” mats blind.
How to check before ordering
- Body: Double Cab is 5-seat; measure the rear footwell if you are not sure.
- Trim badge: XL and XLT have a bare bed and simpler cabin trim than Wildtrak/Raptor; mat pattern is the same, colour options differ.
- Retention: two rectangular fixing points on driver’s side is T6.2 correct.
