The Mk4 Octavia hatch (liftback) and Estate share their front and rear seats exactly. A cover cut for either body fits the other - the only differences between the two are above the belt line. That is true across powertrains too: SE, SE L, Sportline and the vRS iV plug-in hybrid all use the same passenger cabin.

Trim variance follows the usual pattern. SE and SE L use standard-comfort seats that accept universal semi-custom covers cleanly. Sportline adds deeper front bolsters that pinch universal covers with side elastics. vRS uses even deeper sports bolsters and needs trim-specific covers.

Every trim has front-seat side airbags in the outer bolsters. Airbag-compatible cover seams are mandatory across the range. Do not cross-fit Golf Mk8 covers even though the two share the MQB Evo platform; the Octavia’s front seat cushion is a few millimetres wider and headrest post spacing differs.
