Do Defender 90 and 110 share seat covers?
Front covers yes. Rear covers no - the 90 has a shorter, deeper rear bench; the 110 has a longer, wider bench with different fold-hinge positions.
How does the front jump seat option affect covers?
The 90 (and optionally 110) can be specified with a centre front jump seat, giving three across the front. That deletes the centre console and adds a third seat cushion in the middle. A standard two-seat front cover set has no third piece to cover the jump seat - buy jump-seat-specific if fitted.
What material makes sense for a working Defender?
Heavy-duty canvas is the traditional working choice - stain-resistant and colour-fast. Land Rover’s own waterproof seat covers are marketed for this use case and fit the jump-seat option cleanly. Neoprene works for family use.
Are front-seat side airbags standard on every Defender trim?
Yes. Every L663 (S, SE, HSE, X-Dynamic, X, V8, Octa) has front-seat side airbags. Airbag-compatible seams are mandatory.
One thing many buyers miss
The Defender 130’s third row is a jump-seat-style bench with limited legroom. Third-row cover sets exist but they are cut short compared to the second row. Do not buy a “full seat cover set” expecting the third row to be included; confirm the listing includes row 3 if you need it.
How to check before ordering
- Body variant: 90, 110 or 130 - all take different rear cover sets.
