Five things to know before you buy phone mounts for the Renault Clio

  1. Higher trims have a portrait 9.3-inch touchscreen. Techno and Esprit Alpine trims use a portrait tablet-style display; Evolution uses a smaller landscape screen. Mount placement zone above the screen differs between the two.

  2. Vent slats are horizontal on the centre vents. Vent clips must be horizontal-slat-compatible.

  3. No factory wireless charging on any Clio trim. Buy a Qi-coil mount if you want to charge and view together.

  4. Do not cross-fit Captur mounts. The Captur uses a different dashboard layout despite the shared CMF-B platform.

  5. 2023 facelift did not change the dashboard. The facelift updated the nose and added E-Tech hybrid; the interior carried over from launch.
