The fourth-generation Mini Cooper (F66 ICE and J01 Electric, 2024-onwards) shares the same dashboard between the two platforms. The signature circular 9.4-inch OLED display sits in the middle of the dash where a phone mount would traditionally go - Mini has effectively used the display as the centre-stack focal point, leaving very little natural adhesive zone.

Vent slats are horizontal on the centre vents, but they are set within angular vent housings that limit vent-clip clearance. Slim-profile vent clips work; wide-jaw universal clips may not fit the housing. The dashboard is soft-touch across the range, but the low centre-stack area below the circular display is fabric-trimmed on higher trims - avoid adhesive mounts on fabric trim.

The 3-door and 5-door share front dashboards; only the rear cabin differs. F66 (ICE) and J01 (Electric) share the same interior including dashboard, vent layout and mount zones. Factory wireless charging is standard from Classic up on both platforms.

Frequently asked questions

Do F55/F56 Mini phone mounts fit the F66/J01?

No. The new circular OLED display and revised centre stack change everything. Old Mini-specific mounts do not fit the new car.

Is the JCW dashboard different from Classic or Sport for mount fit?

No. Only trim finishes differ; vent and centre-stack layout is shared.
